The N2O is down until I find the stupid ground short and get the MSD window
switch hooked up correctly. That should happen on Wednesday. In the mean
time, I ran just over 8 seconds without the bottle. Only major mods were
how the engine breathes (B&M), how the computer works (HyperTech), and how
the tires hook up (Mickey Thompson). My theoretical best is about 7.7
seconds; with a perfect launch and a reaction time of 0.5 seconds. The
250 shot should get be down into the mid/high 6`s.

Exciting evening. Brackets were rough last night. There were some
beautiful rides, and the cool weather allowed engines to run perfectly.
There were lots of cars in the 6`s. All of the rails (NHRA Super Quick)
were in the high 4`s and low 5`s; and last night there were 5 funny cars.
I met one of the drivers, who ran a 4.08 at 179 mph. That is an amazingly
fast 1/8 mile. I got to stand around his ride and just enjoy the view for
a while - it`s always awesome to see funny cars up close and personal.
