You might help it a bit with a
Hypertech PowerStat...
The PowerStat will flow more water that any PepBoys or GM Stat
while still controlling temp..
But it`s not too far off what the factory wanted it to be..
I have a `94 LT1 and it stays at 180-185 in the Florida heat and humidity
with the PowerStat and the HyperTech Programmer.

Davey, you mean that you put in a stat, it locked down on you, and you were
too damn stupid to notice that your temp gauge had gone and bent itself to
the danger zone?
That means, that you dont need to own a vehicle anymore than you need to
give advice on one, OR anything else.

Thank you Bob I, PJ and Tom in MO. I hadn`t realized the octane gain was
only tenths. Oh well.
Tom, the car isn`t driven more than a few hundred miles per year - about
to turn over to 60k when I put `er away this week - so I guess valve
lubrication can starve for quite some decades before the wear becomes a
problem.
As I mentioned, I haven`t had pinging problems using current day`s
premium unleaded, so mixing in racing fuel wouldn`t be worth the time,
effort or money.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG has a 6.3 litre V8 engine which delivers 571 horse-power, it also features seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The combination of the huge engine and impressive gearbox means the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 317 km/h however this is electronically limited.
